Why choose me as your counselor?
Let’s be real: there are a lot of therapists out there. And scrolling through endless profiles to find the right fit can feel like one more exhausting task on your to-do list. So here’s what sets me apart — and why clients say working with me just feels different.
-
Whether you’re showing up as an anxious overthinker, a partner stuck in communication loops, or someone trying to untangle who they are from who they were told to be. I’m here to get curious with you, slow down the chaos, and work toward clarity that actually sticks.
-
With dual master’s degrees in Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy, I bring a deep understanding of how relationships impact mental health. I help individuals, couples, and polyamorous constellations move from miscommunication and disconnection to deeper, more intentional relating.

You don’t have to explain the basics here. I work often with clients navigating gender identity, celebrating your “egg cracking” , and the layered process of self-acceptance and embodiment. I also write WPATH letters. I approach the process with care, collaboration, and respect for your autonomy—while still honoring my clinical responsibility. My goal is to make the process as affirming and transparent as possible for clients actively engaged in counseling with me. Also, my pronouns are she/her/hers.

This work is personal to me — not just professional. I offer a space where you can grieve, hope, rage, and rethink what family means. No platitudes. No pressure. Just honest support from someone who gets it.

Most of my insurance-based sessions follow the standard 50-minute format—that’s what the system allows, and many clients make great progress within that structure.
But sometimes 50 minutes just isn’t enough—especially when you're untangling complex dynamics in a relationship or processing trauma. That’s why I also offer extended private-pay sessions: 2-hour, 3-hour, or even 4-hour therapy intensives. These longer sessions create the space we need to dive in, stay with the hard stuff, and actually get somewhere—without the clock cutting us off mid-sentence.
-
If you're here, chances are you’ve experienced the heartbreak of losing an animal companion—or you're preparing for a loss that feels impossible to imagine. Whether your pet was with you for a few weeks or many years, the grief can be overwhelming, complicated, and even isolating.
You’re not alone. And your grief is real.
-
My approach helps you make meaning of what’s happened without getting stuck there. Together, we’ll build insight, rewire patterns, and move toward a story that feels more like you.
-
You deserve a therapist who gets the nuances, honors your story, and offers a space that’s safe enough to show up exactly as you are.
If you’re tired of surface-level support and ready for something real, I’m here. Let’s talk.
If you've read this far, something in you knows it’s time. Let’s get you some support that actually helps.
