Clinician Supervision and Internship Training

I’m here to support your growth.

I’m a trained clinical supervisor here in Michigan and love helping new therapists find their footing and confidence. Before starting Branson’s Couch Counseling, I created and ran an internship program at my previous group practice—supervising eight amazing graduate students so far through to graduation. My supervision style is collaborative, hands-on, and rooted in LGBTQ+ affirming care. I incorporate co-therapy, live observation, and real conversations about what it means to show up authentically as a therapist.

I also offer consultation for fully licensed clinicians who want to connect and think through tough cases—especially around couples work, LGBTQ+ identity, or infertility. Whether you’re a student or a seasoned professional, I love being part of your growth as a counselor.

  • Looking for a fully virtual, LGBTQ+ affirming internship/practicum site? I have years of experience supporting interns throughout their last year of graduate school. I have worked with students from Aquinas, Western, & Lindsey Wilson University so far. Reach out to learn more!

  • I love supporting clinicians who work with couples through consultation about LGBTQ+ issues, infertility, and polyamorous/ENM systems. Maybe you’re working with an individual client that is touching on topics that are related to their relationships and as a counselor with a Marriage & Family Therapy degree, we can brainstorm helpful interventions. Reach out to schedule consultation today!

  • Looking for support on how to write a WPATH approved letter for gender affirming care? Or an ASRM letter for clients navigating fertility treatments? Need help with integrating a client’s identity into their care? Reach out to schedule a consultation today.
